Fresh off the tape, Faith Ave, 1215 Sov highlights his self-growth in “the glow is real.” The gloomy R&B trap offering finds the rapper reflecting on his progress as both a musician and individual. After putting Him at the forefront of his goals, 1215 Sov found himself “getting everything he feels in his heart.”
In the main verse, the “Too many” lyricist speaks on keeping his eyes on the prize. Rather than feed into drama or other unnecessary nonsense, 1215 Sov worked on turning his dream into a reality. Moreover, he proved naysayers wrong by going against the grain.
He spits, “I done stuck to the math I then stayed wit the path, so I knew it was right /Worked all dang night when things were alright, but I knew God had my back, and I stuck to the pack, so I knew it was flight /Didn’t do bad talk that’s ’cause of my last fall tried to rebound off the last ball/Never went out said I hate y’all now it’s take off cuz want me to get my socks off.”
Several individuals try knocking him off his path. Yet, he steers clear from all the distractors. In hindsight, the glow-up is real. 1215 Sov is flourishing so much more than he was back then.
“They want me to go north, but I told em it’s too important (woah)/So I know I’m gone go forward,” he spits. “Tell them boys out there the glow is real.”
In short, 1215 Sov is letting go of old habits and harboring new ones. As a result, he’s going straight to the top.
