What fire new music are you working on right now? 

Currently we’re writing 23 new songs that will come out as singles and a full length album. We’re really excited about the new vibe and sound coming out of the songs we’re creating, more harmonies and a lot more sax!

In the meantime while we keep working on the new music, we’re putting out a huge 4 song music video from our last release Dunia. It drops Friday July 30th! 

What is your favorite verse off the EP? 

There’s so many verses we love off of the Dunia EP that we can’t wait to see visually expressed in the visual EP…especially this one:

For every flower in the world there is a bullet shell. For every little girl there is a gun.

Go hang your dropping bombs up on a shelf now. Let’s go on out and be someone.

There’s plenty of room to be thankful. There’s plenty of room to be yourself.

Go waive your rainbow flag up in the sky now. Go kill em with the kindness in your heart.

Which song are you being the most meticulous about? 

As for the new songs, all of them ha ha…some are more challenging to finalize than others but we can always feel it when a song needs more work or it’s time to let it breathe

Any collabs on it? 

We can’t share much about the new songs yet but some of the producers we are talking to are extremely badass and have produced some of our favorite bands of all time!

Dream collab? 

Dream collab musician wise would have to be with Tycho…producer wise we dream to work with Rick Ruben.

Is there a critique you’ve gotten on the new songs that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better? 

The main critique we’ve gotten has been to sing together more and it’s definitely the direction we planned on heading anyways so it’s pushed us that much more to follow our intuition.

What are you most excited about for fans to hear? 

We’re excited for our fans to hear all of the new lyrics and see what they take away from it, it’s always so cool when people really understand exactly what topics we are talking about or themes, emotions, stories. When a fan picks up on that from listening on their own without us telling them the meaning it’s the best feeling ever, especially when the meaning of our song has multiple meanings.

How would you describe the visuals? 

The visuals are very edgy and fun, lots of locations and characters weaving together to tell a story. The main character in the story is in high school about to graduate and venture out into the world deciding which path she should follow. Many paths, wormholes and dimensions are presented to her along the way. It’s a psychedelic, skater vibe for sure but also commenting on a ton of real issues we were all exposed to while trying to remain connected to nature.

Give us anything else you want to know about the project? 

When watching it, allow your mind to wander. Allow your soul to remember our connection to nature.
